US Ambassador to Azerbaijan visits occupied Shushi

ArmInfo. It is well known that the Artsakh conflict is an inter-ethnic one rather then a  territorial dispute. International law specialist Siranush Sahakyan stated on November 30 during a press conference in Yerevan, when asked to comment on the statement of Speaker of the Armenian  Parliament Alen Simonyan about the possibility of Armenians living together with Azerbaijanis.

ArmInfo.After the forced displacement of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, more than 5,000  monuments and more than 20 museums have been faced with an existential threat in the territories under the control of Azerbaijan, Armenia's Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan said at her meeting with Mr Rafik Mansour, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy, Bureau of Educational and  Cultural Affairs, U.S. Department of State.  Attending the meeting was also U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien. 

ArmInfo. The Nagorno-Karabakh issue remains unresolved, the ex-commander of the  Artsakh Defense Army, former secretary of the Nagorno-Karabakh Security Council Samvel Babayan told reporters on November 29.

ArmInfo.On May 24, 2022, within the framework of the implementation of the  agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan and on the basis of  relevant orders, the first meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of  Armenia Mher Grigoryan and the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan  Shahin Mustafayev took place on the Armenian-Azerbaijani interstate  border in the format of joint work of commissions on issues of  delimitation and security of the border between the Republic of  Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

ArmInfo.The Children of Armenia Fund (COAF) announces a significant contribution of $100,000 from HSBC Bank Armenia CJSC (hereinafter HSBC Armenia/Bank) in dedicated support of Project H.O.P.E. This critical initiative was launched by COAF in response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis brought about by the mass exodus of Armenians from Artsakh (also known as Nagorno Karabakh). Project H.O.P.E. stands for Housing, Opportunities in Education, Psychological and Health Support, as well as Empowerment through Capacity Building, and is designed to address the immediate and long-term needs of those affected by forced displacement.

European Commission's lead spokesperson for foreign affairs and security policy Peter Stano said commenting on the EU statement regarding assistance to Armenia through the European Peace Facility (EPF).

ArmInfo. The situation has become mirrored. If before 2020 Artsakh was used to put pressure on Armenia, now Artsakh will be used to put pressure on Azerbaijan/Turkey.
