Representatives of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia do not rule out that not the RPA member may be appointed prime minister of Armenia, the head of the RPA parliamentary faction, Galust Sahakyan, told journalists today.
He said that drawing out of further actions strategy is the most important task at present, and then finding and appointment of the premier. Asked by Arminfo correspondent about the reason of Sargsyan's resignation, Sahakyan just supposed that after 6 years of work as a premier, Sargsyan simply decided to resign.
Rumors have been actively circulating in mass media about appointment of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan or Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan as a premier. However. Kocharyan's press-secretary, Viktor Sogomonyan, disproved such information.
