Deputy Head of the US Delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Congressman Benjamin Cardin strongly criticized the international community as well as the OSCE during the plenary meeting of the organization's 23rd summer session in Baku, APA reports.
The source says that Mr Cardin reprobated the world community and the West for remaining incapable before Russia. The US congressman said the region is severely suffering from the frozen conflicts today.
APA quotes Mr Cardin as saying, "How many frozen conflicts does the world need to awake?! Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and now Ukraine. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict has been groaning for 22 years, there's no one to cure it. Which country is next in the list? We had high hopes about the Minsk Group, but they all proved wrong. Who will restore justice? Shall we turn a blind eye to human bloodshed, the lost lands? Countries are losing their territories, states are melting away before our eyes. What are you waiting for?"
