Control Chamber of Armenia will be changed into Audit Chamber, Head of Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, Republican Gagik Minasyan said at the press conference on February 6 in Yerevan.
According to him, this reform will be implemented according to the Article 13 of the new Constitution of Armenia. The Republican informed that the work on draft law will be finished till the end of this session, so that during the autumn session of Armenian parliament the law of Audit Chamber is adopted during two hearings.

Minasyan noted and in this context he explained that according to the new Constitution of Armenia Audit Chamber will prepare its reports independently and will not depend on the parliament, as it was in the case of the Control Chamber.

He also informed that Estonia's experience will be used during the development of the project, which is also a post-soviet country with a parliamentary system of government and where the European experience is effectively implemented in this issue.
