Beeline announces about launch of a new "Where are you?" service. This service allows receiving information about the current location of other subscribers of Beeline network, in case of their agreement.
As the company's press-service reports, the service will be useful for those subscribers who want to learn where their child, loved one or parents are. The service will also be useful if the client is lost or wants to learn where he/she is.
"Beeline "Where are you? is a location-based service, with the help of which one can quickly get information about location of his/her significant other, by not disturbing him/her with calls or SMS. The service works even on the simplest versions of mobile phones and does not need special setup. It is enough to receive searched subscriber's consent to track his/her location", Beeline CEO Andrey Pyatakhin noted.
The service can be activated by USSD-request *999#. In order to track location of the subscriber it is necessary to receive his consent first. For this one should send *999# when the service has been already activated for contacting service menu, enter the "Add number" and follow the system's instructions. After receiving the requested number's consent, the clients can send unlimited number of search requests, in order to track the locations of the searched subscriber on the map. The client receives SMS notification with text description of the searched subscriber's location and link to the map.
In case a subscriber does not want his/her location to be tracked, he/she needs only to ignore incoming request SMS. There will be no SMS from the same number again.
Daily fee for the service totals 30 AMD. The cost includes opportunity to send up to 10 search requests in a day. The price of each additional request sent after daily limit is used is 30 AMD. Additional information is available at www.beeline.am.
