The ruling Republican Party of Armenia is likely to abandon ideology of Nzhde and come back to marxism-leninism, former premier of Armenia, a member of the parliament from the opposition Armenian National Congress faction, Grant Bagratyan, wrote at his page in Facebook.
"When discussing the state budget in the parliament, Armenia's premier said that thanks to the reforms Armenia has found itself at the 37th place in the last ease of doing business index for 2013- 2014. This man should be reminded of the fact that six years ago when he was given the position of the premier, a country was given to him which occupied the 34th place. The economy of Armenia grew by 9,3% for six years ( in 2008. - +6.9%, in 2009 -14.1%, in 2010 - +2,1%, in 2011. - +4,7% , in 2012 - 7.1% and in 2013 - 4%). The average growth was 1.5% versus the promised 7%. The world economy grew by 11.8%, about 2% per year. As a result, by the key economic indices in the list of 193 countries we passed from the 85-90 places to 110-115. The total of 380 thsd people left Armenia for six years. How cynical he is to say about reforms in such conditions! I think that the RPA has decided to abandon ideology of Nzhde and come back to marxism-leninism - after 6 years of reforms we registered regress in all the directions", - Bagratyan said.
