Newly founded Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) of Turkey organized a march on Wednesday in Istanbul in memory of the Armenian Genocide victims.
According to mynet.com, the demonstrators held posters saying, "Don't forget the Armenian Genocide."
They assembled in Sisli district, lit candles, placed carnations and began marching to Armenian music.
The march ended in Kurtulus district, where the demonstrators condemned the Turkish authorities' policy of Armenian Genocide denial.
Similar events are supposed to be held in several Turkish cities on Thursday.
