Orange Armenia has started accepting online payments through ArCa, MasterCard and Visa cards. Ameriabank and Orange Armenia have jointly announced the launch of acceptance of online payments for Orange telecommunication services.
The press service of Ameriabank has told ArmInfo that Orange customers can pay for the company's services with the cards of any bank. The payments are made via the website of Orange Armenia and transferred immediately to the subscriber's account.
"The VbV (Verified by VISA) technology and the SecureCode (3D Secure MasterCard) ensure high security of online payments. The joint project of Orange and Ameriabank is one more serious step towards development of e-commerce in Armenia", says Beniamin Tadevosyan, Head of IT and Automation Department at Ameriabank. He says that the Bank has developed vPOS to facilitate the acceptance of online payments through ArCa, MasterCard and Visa cards and their further servicing. That software tool can be easily set up on the website without heavy programming and it needs no configuration or settings.
