The Turkish Government has invited Armenia to attend the inauguration ceremony of the President-elect Recep Erdogan and most probably Armenia will participate at the level of its Minister of Foreign Affairs, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said during a meeting with participants in the Together 2014 pan-Armenian educational forum.
The press service of the Armenian President quotes Sargsyan as saying that the Armenia Foreign Minister will be informed whether the new President of Turkey is going to visit the Tsitsernakaberd memorial during the upcoming commemorations of the centennial anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on April 24, 2015, and see first hand the Eternal Flame-bound vast human procession, which has been growing in intensity over many decades.
Sargsyan said it was hard tell, though he stressed that Armenia's desire is to see it open as soon as possible.
