Tension on the Line of Contact of the Artsakh and Azerbaijani armed forces will continue till April 24. Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan (Commandos), the head of the Shushi liberation operation, Artsakh war hero, told reporters, Tuesday.
He said Ankara is "the author of the scenario" of Azeri raids in the conflict zone. Turkey seeks to distract the attention of the world community from the Armenian Genocide Centennial. Commandos said the Artsakh and Armenian defense ministries and military expects anticipate Azerbaijani sabotage attempts from several directions at once till April 24.
"There will be no war, but severe battles and sabotage attempts by the adversary will continue," Ter-Tadevosyan said.
As for the latest incident when an Armenian contract soldier Andranik Grigoryan crossed into Azerbaijan, General Ter-Tadevosyan said the man might have mental disorders.
To note, a contract serviceman of the NKR Defense Army, Andranik Grigoryan (1991) crossed the border into Azerbaijan on March 22, at about 1.50pm, leaving his arms and ammunition on the combat position. Investigation is underway.
In this light, Azerbaijan has shared a video, in which the Armenian serviceman says that he was not alone when crossing the contact line, however, his fellow serviceman did not manage to cross the line. He says that he has crossed the line of contact because he allegedly underwent violence in the NKR Defense Army and because he was afraid of death.
