The French University in Armenia has celebrated its 15th anniversary. More than 1,500 students received higher education certificates within that period. 80% of the graduated students, specialists in marketing, finance and law have found jobs on their specialization, with another 8% are receiving post-graduate education.
Rector of the French University in Armenia, Jean-Marc Lavest, says the French University has issued its second catalogue of the graduated students that is unique in Armenia. One can find information about their post-graduation professional activity.
Prime Minister of Armenia Govik Abrahamyan was present at the event. He delivered a speech and awarded Professor Jean-Marc Lavest with a memorable medal for his contribution to the localization of the French and European higher education standards. The prime minister awarded also President of the Jean Moulin University Lyon III, Professor Jacques Comby.
Minister of Education and Science of Armenia Levon Mkrtchyan, French Ambassador to Armenia Jean- Francois Charpentier and other officials and diplomats were present at the event.
