Lower
chamber of the Kazakh parliament has approved ratification of the treaty on
Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, Novosti-Kazakhstan said.
Minister of National Economy Erbolat Dosayev said
Armenia's accession to the EEU is of great importance for Kazakhstan, which
closely cooperates with Armenia.
"Our cooperation helps enhance economic
development of our countries. With
Armenia's accession, we plan to develop our relations in the legislative
field," Dosayev said.
The treaty on Armenia's accession to the EEU was
signed on 10 October in Minsk. When the document comes into effect, Armenia
will become a full member of the EEU and should meet the contractual base of
the Customs Union and the EEU.
