To ensure economic development of the country, one should change the structure and system of government. This is the joint viewpoint of the economic experts who were invited to the Alternative Analytical Center on March 7 to discuss the Road Map on Economic Growth and Human Capital Development. The author of the Road Map is Professor Tatul Manaseryan, the head and founder of the Alternative Analytical Center.
The experts pointed out that Armenia is not short of good strategic programs on economic development. Neither is it short of people capable of elaborating and implementing these programs. The problem is that no one listens to educated people in Armenia. "Look at our ministers and state officials. Why don't they publicly speak of the problems in the country? They perfectly realize that if they voice the problems, they will lose everything", the experts said. "There is no political will to ensure the efficiency of the programs. Without political will any reforms and even any boasted European programs are just an imitation", said the experts.
