Another member of Heritage Party Hovsep Khurshudyan and activist David Sanasaryan who was wounded in yesterday's clashes with the Police have been detained today.
Earlier the Police detained 23 people on suspicion of organizing and participating in the mass disorders. Armen Martirosyan, the vice chairman of the Heritage Party, and activist
Andrias Ghukasyan are among the detained persons.
So far, it is not clear if there were any charges brought against Khurshudyan and Sanasaryan. Meantime, Martirosyan and Ghukasyan disclaim charges incriminated against them.
The Police have surrounded composer Yeghishe Petrosyan's house, who is a member of the Anti-Crisis Committee managing the recent protest actions in Yerevan.
As for Alek Yenigomshyan, a member of the Founding Parliament opposition initiative, he is accused of supporting the armed loyalists of the jailed oppositionist Jirayr Sefilyan who has seized the police compound in Yerevan demanding release of Sefilyan and resignation of the president. Yenigomshyan disclaims the accusations.
