The Kesab events have shown that Turkey is not safe for its neighbors, political expert Stepan Safaryan told journalists on Wednesday.
"The fact that Turkey and Azerbaijan provided their territories for the terrorists who penetrated Syria and attacked its mostly Armenian areas proves that those countries are dangerous," the expert said.
He also blames the Armenian authorities for ignoring the challenges faced by the Armenian community of Syria. "While the whole world expressed concern over the terrorists' actions in Syria, the Armenian authorities did nothing to secure international safety guarantees for the local Armenians," Safaryan said.
