Bill on recognition of Artsakh's independence will not be discussed in Armenia parliament either at upcoming extraordinary or four-day sessions, Deputy Speaker of Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov informed ArmInfo's correspondent today. 

According to him the bill has to be first discussed in the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations within 30 days after submitted to the parliament. "After this the committee will give a positive or negative conclusion on the document and decide when to put it on the agenda of the parliament", Sharmazanov explained. 

He emphasized that as of today there is no need in adopting such document and the representatives of the Armenian foreign ministry and Armenian's president's administration have already stated about this. "Such necessity will arise only when all the ways for problem solution via negotiations will be run out and in case Azerbaijan continues military aggression. As of now I think all the possibilities have not beene xhaousted yet and I think that Azerbaijan under international pressure will not attempt to repeat a wide-scale military aggression", the Deputy Speaker noted adding that this bill is one of those unique documents, which should be adopted unanimously and one should not hurry in this issue. 

Touching upon the ways for settling of Karabakh conflict and the statement made by his counterpart Deputy Speaker of Armenia Hermine Naghdalyan on returning territories around Nagorno-Karabakh, which attracted public attention, Sharamzanov stated that nothing has changed in Yerevan's stand on this issue: "We have always stated on various levels that the Karabakh conflict should be settled via peaceful negotiations under OSCE Minsk Group based on mutual compromises and three Helsinki principles:  people's right to self-determination, territorial integrity of the states and non-use of force. I do not think that this is the case when a tempest in a tea-pot should be created.
