The Preparliament civil initiative stresses the need to create an alternative parliament outside the current political system. Preparliament says that the new parliament will be able to defend the citizens' interests, assume the reigns of power and hold snap elections after the overthrow of the incumbent regime.
Preparliament also calls on the citizens to run for seats in the alternative parliament. Armenians, who are already 27 and older, who have graduated from higher educational establishments and who share Preparliament's stance about the need to form a qualitatively new state, can run for the parliamentary seats.
