Mission of Daredevils of Sasoun on ensuring the launch of revolt is finished. People's uprising has started and its successful termination is a matter of time, one of the members of Daredevils of Sasoun group Varujan Avetisyan mentions in the statement disseminated by MP Zaruhi Postanjyan. “In such a situation priority if Daredevils of Sasoun is to avoid meaningless bloodshed. Zhirayr Sefilyan's word and his negotiation mission are of decisive importance for us in this issue. He has already stated that he is ready to take the mission. We urge Serzh Sargsyan to accept our reasonable offer and ensure our meeting with Sefilyan entrusting negotiation mission to him. Otherwise, Serzh Sargsyan will bear responsibility for possible bloodshed. At the same time we urge our people to do everything to put into action our offer in order to avoid bloodshed'', the statement reads.

Daredevils of Sasoun group continues to control the territory of the Police Patrol Service Regiment for already 15 days. The situation on the territory adjacent to the building is currently calm. From yesterday the streets adjacent to the building were cut off electricity. Meanwhile, yesterday gunshots were heard in this district. Protest of the supporters of Daredevils of Sasoun finished late at night yesterday at Baghramyan Avenue.

 

 To note, almost all the leaders of the protest movement have been arrested. However, the protesters said they are going to continue the protest on Liberty Square at 8:00 pm on July 31.

 

To recall, on July 17 an armed group calling itself Daredeivls of Sasoun seized the police regiment building in Erebuni district of Yerevan. During the seizure one policeman was killed, 4 were injured. On July 30 Police informed about death of another policeman. Some members of the group have been wounded.
