In an interview with Bild (Germany), Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan touched on the Karabakh problem and pointed out the importance of consolidation of the international community's efforts towards condemnation of the crimes committed by Azerbaijan.
Sargsyan said that at the moment the situation is relatively calm. At the same time, he noted that during the April escalation along the line of contact of the NKR and Azerbaijani troops, the international community failed to make any specific statements and assessments about the developments in Karabakh. "We would like the world community to clearly say what is going on and that the aggressive party is Azerbaijan," Sargsyan said.
"Injustice should be called injustice. It is critically important to us," he says, stressing the need to join international efforts to condemn the crimes committed by Azerbaijan, and to impose sanctions on the aggressor country.
