VTB Bank (Armenia) keeps supporting the improvement of secondary school No.21 of the Russian Defense Ministry. The school is located in Kanaker administrative district, Yerevan.
The press office of the Bank has told ArmInfo during the summer 42 old wood windows of the main building were replaced with reinforced-plastic windows. Earlier, VTB Bank (Armenia) had renovated and reequipped the classrooms of Russian, Computer Science and Maths. The Bank also equipped the school with computer facilities and interactive whiteboards.
Yuri Gusev, Director General - Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank (Armenia), personally congratulated the pupils of School No.21 and pointed out that the Bank provides regular support to the school. He also stressed the importance of creating comfortable conditions for getting high-quality education.
Ivan Volynkin, Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, also cordially congratulated the pupils on the beginning of the new school year. "The summer holidays have passed and now it is time for the most important thing - education. Believe me, knowledge is the best investment in your future. Well-educated people are afraid of no obstacles. Thanks to VTB Bank (Armenia), you will enjoy more comfortable conditions this year," he said.
To note, School No.21 of the Russian Defense Ministry opened in Yerevan on 1 September 1994 by the Russian Defense Ministry to educate the children of the Russian servicemen. The school has well- equipped classrooms, a gym, an events hall, laboratories for Physics and Chemistry, shops, computer classes, and an interactive education room. A total of 500 pupils attend School No.21.
