Sub-Saharan Africa will attend the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli Victories at highest level.
Anadolu reports that on April 24, the presidents of Djibouti, Chad, South Sudan, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, and Somalia will visit Istanbul. The heads of Iraq, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Slovenia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, unrecognized Ireland, and inexistent Northern Cyprus are also expected to attend those events. Certainly, the presidents of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkmenistan and Qatar will also take part in the festivities in Turkey. Prince Charles will attend the Turkish events, too. Australia, New Zealand, Romania and Moldova will be represented at the events at the level of prime ministers.
To note, France, Russia, Serbia and Cyprus will be represented at the above events at the highest level. Joseph Daul, Chairman of the European People's Party and Anne Brasseur, PACE President, are also expected to visit Armenia on April 24. Czech Ambassador Petr Mikyska said that one of the Parliament's Vice- Speakers would visit Armenia in April.
Switzerland, that has both recognized and adopted a law that criminalizes the denial of the Armenian Genocide, will show its participation through the Swiss Ambassador to Armenia. British MP John Whittingdale and bishop Richard Chartres are to represent London at the events. Australia and Norway have officially announced their refusal to take part in the events.
