A member of the Founding Parliament public interest group Zhirayr Sefilyan disseminated a statement on February 27 wherein it calls on the public to show disobedience and stop paying the fines for violation of the traffic rules, as a first step.
He recalled that the Founding Parliament will bring people into the street on April 24 to overthrow the regime. Along with the "street fight" Sefilyan suggests delaying payments of fines for 6 months - the law does not ban it. "Only a small part of these payments will go to the budget, most of the payments will go to the pockets of the wealthy representatives of the ruling regime. That is why, it is necessary to restrict the financial flows of those persons," he said.
The Founding Parliament's regular calls for a coup by April 24 - the Armenian Genocide Centennial is marked on that day - causes controversial public response.
