Ambassador of France to Armenia Henri Reynaud said at today's press-conference in Yerevan that he is not aware of the publications about armament delivery by France to Azerbaijan. Moreover, he thinks that any weapon deal between Paris and Baku is impossible.
France, as a co-chair state of the OSCE MG, cannot supply weapon to any party to the Karabakh conflict, as it would mean breaking of the relevant international conventions, the ambassador said.
Earlier Azerbaijani haqqin.az reported referring to the French ANS that France is going to sell surface-to-air-missile systems to Azerbaijan. It also added that President of France Francois Hollande lobbied the sale of SAMP/T during his visit to Azerbaijan in May of the current year.
