World and European champion Youri Djorkaeff to play for ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank's team in October charity football match

Europe and World champion, French footballer of Armenian origin Youri Djorkaeff will play in a charitable football match between bank employees and journalists for the ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank's team. According to the Bank's press-service, the match will take place on October 2 at 17:30pm, at the "Pyunik" Club stadium. 
The bank employees will play with the football team of Armenian journalists for which Vardan Minasyan, former head coach of the Armenia's National team and currently "Pyunik" club executive director will play.
All the funds gathered from the charitable football match will be provided to the Khachik borderline community school for buying sport equipment and for the orphanage in Gavar.  The match entry is free. At the end of the match Youri Djorkaeff will dispense autographs.  To note, Djorkaeff was born to Kalmyk-Polish father Jean Djorkaeff and an Armenian mother in Lyon.  He started his career in 1984 with French club Grenoble, before moving to RC Strasbourg in 1989, AS Monaco in 1990, and then Paris Saint-Germain in 1995. He also played for Internazionale1, FC Kaiserslautern, Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers.Djorkaeff won the Cup Winners' Cup with Paris Saint-Germain in 1996 and the UEFA Cup with Internazionale in 1998. He accumulated 82 caps and scored 28 goals for France. Other than the two major tournament (the 1998 FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Euro 2000), Djorkaeff also played for his country in UEFA Euro 1996 and the 2002 FIFA World Cup. Winner of the Coupe de France: 1990-91, French Division 1: Top Scorer 1993-94 (20 goals). Notably, the footballer's roots played a significant role when he made a choice in which team to continue his career. Two major European football clubs Barcelona and Inter were trying to attract Djorkaeff. From the first days of joining Inter, the fans called him "Brilliant".
