Head of Heritage Party Faction Zaruhi Postanjyan recommended Armenian Parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to 'keep shtum' and stop insulting mass media, after Abrahamyan declared that Mass Media has been recently publishing ordered reports that affect his image and authority. The speaker said that one of his opponents who orders reports against him is also a parliamentarian. Abrahamyan did not name him, however. He just recommended his opponent to spend the money he pays to journalists on charity.
Zaruhi Postanyan, in turn, recommended the speaker to be correct and stop insulting journalists. Postanjyan said that parliamentarians are afraid of mass media and painfully respond to the truth they publish. She said that the citizens of Armenia do not need charity as they are hardworking and able to earn their living, if the authorities stop robbing them. She slummed the authorities for growing migration, corruption and atmosphere of fear and poverty in the country. Postanjyan is sure that every official in Armenia is subordinate to senior officials. In this light, she said that the speaker would not dare to vote against any bill even if it ran contrary to his personal views.
In response, the speaker just recommended Postajnyan to run for the parliament from a single- mandate constituency at least once.
Earlier, Armenian media outlets reported that Hovik Abrahamyan and Gagik Tsarukyan have a common fishery in Dzorak community, Ararat region. Reportedly, Abrahamyan and his brother own another fishery also in the village of Mkhchyan. Besides, Abrahamyan is said to have a monopoly fish feed importer company.
