Today Orange has announced the launch of a partnership with Shirak FC. The press service of Orange Armenia has told ArmInfo that in the frame of this cooperation Orange will support the 400 children of Shirak FC youth school providing them training uniforms. Orange will provide new sets of uniforms for trainings and official games, sport vests, as well as professional footwear to 175 children, representing Shirak in 5 championship of Armenia of various age categories.
"Orange puts a lot of importance in supporting children. Today we are glad to launch this partnership with Shirak FC, as it will enable us to ease the financial burden for Gyumri families and make football more affordable for citizens of Gyumri. We believe that it will, as well, contribute to the long term success of Shirak FC - the pride of any Gyumretsi - as the most talented members of this school are the future professional players of the club" said Francis Gelibter, General Director of Orange Armenia.

This step of Orange is very appreciated, as Shirak region, and in particular Gyumri, are among the most vulnerable in terms of social condition of the population. FC Shirak is one of the most famous Armenian football clubs. It was founded in 1958. The club have won 4 national championships (1992, 1994, 1999, 2012/2013), 1 cup title (2012) and 4 Armenian super-cups (1996, 1999, 2002, 2013):
