Beeline Armenia has conducted a 1-day training for the Armenian round of Eurasia Mobile Challenge contest organized by VimpelCom. Eurasia Mobile Challenge is carried out within Make Your Mark global strategy and is aimed at supporting young people to realize their ideas using digital technologies. As the Company's press-service reports, 120 representatives from the registered 50 teams received an opportunity to discuss their ideas with the specialists.
"The Armenian round of Eurasia Mobile Challenge contest is going on and we are happy to see so many young people with fresh innovative ideas. Today's training does not only allow participants to improve their ideas but it's a unique experience exchange platform for IT specialists. I really enjoyed talking to participants and I'm sure that the contest brought together the young people who are the creators of the mobile technology development in Armenia and the whole world", said Beeline Armenia CEO Andrey Pyatakhin.
After a further competitive pitch in Moscow, three regional finalists will compete against other regional teams in the Global Mobile Challenge, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will receive cash prizes -20 000, 15, 000 and 10, 000 US dollars respectively, as well as a fully paid trip for the contest Global Mobile Challenge, which will take place within the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona 22 -26 February 2016.
The partners of the national stage of the competition are the Microsoft Innovation Center, the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, mLab ECA and the HIVE.
