The State Committee for Protection of the Economic Competition has initiated administrative proceedings against two local tobacco producers: Grand Tobacco and International Masis Tabak companies on April 30.
Reportedly, the two companies have created obstacles to their competitive rivals on the market. In particular, they companies offered expensive presents to local stores to make them refuse to sell the products of other tobacco producers. This creates unequal conditions to other companies and importers and affects the competitive environment in the country, the economic competition watchdog says.
