Two activists of "Get Your Hands Out of Our Pockets!" movement have been detained in the course of today's motor rally in Yerevan. The activists demand liquidation of paid parking in the public areas, a 5-fold reduction of the fines for the violations registered by radars, as well as writing off the fines registered before a new system will be introduced in Yerevan.
The police did not allow the protest motor rally in Arshakunyats Ave to drive into the city center. The activists refused to fulfill the police's demands and were detained. Head of the Yerevan Road Police Department Arsen Arshakyan tried to stop the protest and threatened the activists to take their cars to the penalty area by means of car evacuation service unless they fulfill the police's demands.
