Over today's session of the Armenian parliament the head of the RPA faction, Galust Sahakyan, offered to extend the number of the members of the counting commission up to 11 against the present 7: 5 seats to the RPA, 2 - to the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), by one seat to all the rest parliamentary factions. Sahakyan said that the law "On regulations" allows such alterations.

However, such a proposal caused protest of the non-governmental forces of the parliament. Members of the ARF Dashnaktiutyun faction said that such a proposal will break the ratio of representation of the parliamentary forces in the commission. They demanded to submit the whole draft for the rest factions to have an opportunity to present their opinion. Representatives of the Armenian National Congress faction said that in case of adoption of such a decision, the faction will abandon taking part in the work of the counting commission.
As a result, the Orinats Yerkir parliamentary faction offered a 20-minute break.
