The activists protesting against introduction of the compulsory accumulative pension system have again gathered in front of the Armenian National Assembly today demanding revision of the bill.
The activists carrying banners and chanting "No Injustice!" and "No new pension system!" marched to the President's residence and handed a letter with their demands to an employee of the Presidential Administration. The activists ended the picket and agreed to gather in front of the National Assembly tomorrow when the parliament will be voting on the above bill.
Introduction of the compulsory accumulative system in Armenia has aroused a wave of public discontent, as the new system implies more taxes amid overall social crisis in the country.
