The Azeri Defense Ministry's report that last night an Armenian sniper killed an Azeri soldier is not true, Spokesman of Armenia's Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan told ArmInfo on Friday.
"This is one more lie. There were no shots from our side. This may be some old casualty, they might simply decide to make it known now," Hovhannisyan said.
Azeri mass media quoted their Defense Ministry as alleging earlier in the day that the Armenian troops broke the cease-fire regime on Thursday at 06:40 PM, with an Armenian sniper having allegedly killed Azeri soldier Eshgin Guliyev.
