Charges have been brought against two employees of the State Service for Food Safety who were arrested for an attempt of taking a bribe in exchange for a permission to sell expired food products on February 4.
Nvard Arakelyan, Spokesperson for the State Service for Food Safety, told ArmInfo about the arrest. One of the detainees is Deputy Prime Minister Vache Gabrielyan's brother-in-law.
It is widely rumored in the press that Gabrielyan's brother-in-law was released on the recognizance not leave, while the second employee was released on 1 million drams bail.
