Political expert: Reports that the Azeri Parliament might adopt a law "On Occupied Territories of Azerbaijan" were just an attempt to see the reaction of the Azeri society, Armenia and the world community
Marat Terterov: Armenia’s long term security will be better served by strengthening economic security, rather than defining national security on the basis of the Tsarist Russian catch-cry “armiya i flot”
At today's press conference, Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian said that he is not going to ask the Police for a permit to put up a tent in Liberty Square.
Hovannisian said that the police should care for the security and health of the citizens and his security as well. "Consequently, the police should put up the tent without anybody's request or demand. Unfortunately, they failed to do it", he said. He still hopes that the police employees and particularly, Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan will have enough bravery and will to put up the tent despite the Municipality's will.
To recall, today's attempt to put up a tent turned into a scuffle between Raffi Hovannisian's supporters and the police.
As regards the further plans of the Heritage Party, Hovannisian said that further information will be made public during the March 15 rally.
