There should be a number of political, military and economic prerequisites for a new war to start in Nagorno-Karabakh. Today we have no such prerequisites, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told journalists on Friday.
"Theoretically there always is a threat of new Azeri aggression, but if you analyze the existing factors, you will see that the possibility of a new war is low," Ohanyan said.
He said that the last Azeri subversive attack has shown that the Armenians are more efficient than the Azeris. "When a group of 9 soldiers flings back a group of 30 infiltrators, it becomes clear that Azerbaijan has no grounds for a hope to win," Ohanyan said.
