VTB Bank (Armenia) has evolved a new - "National" deposit type for non-resident individuals of Armenia. The bank has reported to ArmInfo that one can open a deposit in AMD at the interest rate of 17.75%, USD - 6.25%; EUR - 5.45%; RUR - 11%. The deposit period is 90, 180 or 365 days. The minimum deposit sum is 500000 AMD/1000 USD or EUR/50000 RUR.
To make it more convenient for a depositor, VTB affords customers a chance to choose the draw interest mechanism - while opening the deposit or at the end of term.
Besides the beneficial offers, the bank will provide depositors with MasterCard Gold or Visa Platinum plastic cards - depending on the sum. The depositor can also use the free service "Telephone-Bank"- during the maturity the client will have the opportunity of getting information about his sum and accumulated interest. Beyond the expiration the client will receive the deposit sum and accumulated interest on MasterCard Gold or Visa Platinum cards all over the world without going to bank.

In case of replenishing deposit accounts it is not necessary to go to bank, one can use Internet service and replenish the account online, instead. Another method of replenishing is VTB Bank ATMs or Telcell terminals.
To remind, there has been tendency of deposit interest rate increase since the end of 2014. in December ProCredit increased AMD deposit interest rates up to 16-18%. Anelik Bank and AREXIMBANK-Group have taken up the tendency in 2015 - Anelik Bank - "Dram +" with interest rate of 16-16.25% in January and AREXIMBANK-Group - "Classic Plus" - 15-17% interest rate.
