Armenia will bring new blood into the Customs Union. We are not coming empty-handed. We have a large system of preferences with the European Union, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said during a Russian-Armenian inter-regional forum in Gyumri on Monday.
He said that the GSP+ system applied for Armenian exports to Europe is an excellent opportunity for the 1,300 Russian companies operating in the country.
"Recently the EU cancelled dumping duties on Rusal-Armenal's products and now that company can freely sell its foil in Europe," Sargsyan said.
One more advantage, according to him, is Armenia's high economic freedom and business climate ranks on the World Bank's Doing Business Index.
"We have reached the peak of our cooperation and now it's time for us to move to a new level of integration," Sargsyan said.
