Armenia has kept his word and gave incommensurate retaliation to Azerbaijan
after the latter downed an Armenian helicopter making a training flight near
the Line of Contact, Seyran Ohanyan, Defense Minister of Armenia, told
reporters.
The minister said that such cases are not made public
usually. "We gave incommensurate retaliation to Azerbaijan. Public have
learned about that operation, but the details cannot be made public, as it is a
military secret," Ohanyan said.
The Azerbaijani armed forces downed an Armenian Mi-24

board. The Azeri officer that shot the helicopter down has been awarded a
medal. On 22 November, the NKR Defense
Army Special Forces recovered the body of a crewmember and the remains of the

November. The necessary wreckage was recovered too. Two Azerbaijani militaries
were killed in the course of the special operation. The NKR Defense Army
