"Armenian Renaissance" movement supports Raffi Hovannisian

The "Armenian Renaissance" movement has disseminated a statement in which it expressed support to the leader of the Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian.

According to the statement, the movement which is becoming more and more stronger, the activeness of citizens and their supporting Raffi Hovannisian, as well as absence of any activeness from the side of the people which support the power, are evidence of the fact that official results of the presidential election have nothing in common with reality.  The only argument in the hands of the authorities are the congratulatory messages of foreign forces and organizations. But
the power in Armenia belongs only to the people but not external forces, the interests of which supplies the man which has occupied the president's position. For this reason, their congratulations mean nothing if the people of Armenia do not join them, the statement says.

Representatives of the Armenian Diaspora also hope that Raffi Hovannisian will not disappoint the people, and will be able to take the country out from the present
non-prospective situation.
