Ilham Aliyev, OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs Igor Popov (Russia), James Warlick (the United States), Pierre Andrieu (France) and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk summed up the results of the meetings they had earlier in the day.
The press service of the Armenian President quotes those present at the meeting as saying that they had to continue fostering dialogue and building confidence between the parties to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as that was the only way to achieve progress in the peace talks. They were unanimous that peace was the only solution to the conflict. They agreed to further organize presidential meetings and to exchange data on missing people through the ICRC.
The website of the French President reports that during his meetings with the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents Hollande said that the existing status quo in Nagorno-Karabakh was not stable. So, he urged the parties to show political will, to stop their disputes and to prepare their peoples for a comprehensive peace agreement.
