The head of the state and legal commission of the Armenian parliament , Hovhanes Sahakyan, took a grave view of attacking Aram Manukyan, secretary of the opposition ANC parliamentary faction, and called on public and political circles of the republic not to overload situation and make untimely conclusions.
'The case has been investigated by the law-enforcement agencies. So, there is no need to make untimely conclusions, try to overload the situation and fish in troubled waters before ending of the investigation. Manukyan's attacking is as immoral and unacceptable as the attempts on gaining dividends from the incident", - Sahakyan said.
Aram Manukyan was assaulted on Thursday at around 8pm, as an unidentified person had hit the MP in the entrance of the building where he lives. Manukyan has been hospitalized, and he was diagnosed with concussion and fracture.
