Tbilisi. President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili stated at the final press-conference of the international conference "Georgia's European Way: EU and Its European Neighbors" on Tuesday, July 10 that in 2013 Georgia would have real chances of close cooperation with the European Union.
"Next year Georgia will have real chances to impose free trade and visa free regime with EU", Saakashvili noted.
According to him, at the present time Georgia holds talks with EU on inclusion of Georgian students into the "Erasmus Mundus" program of exchange and cooperation in the sphere of higher education that will give them possibility to study in European universities.
"Besides, the European college will be opened in Georgia, the analogous college exists only in Belgium. Opening of this college means that students from Georgia, regions and European countries will be able to study in Batumi, where European diplomas will be issued and there will be a perspective of employment in Europe", Saakashvili stressed.
