By its statements Turkey is trying to be sly in this or that way, but the recognition of the Armenian Genocide by Turkey is inevitable, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan, said at Tsistarnakaberd Memorial complex when commenting on the statement made by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. "Turkey will sooner or later take that step," - Kocharyan added.
He also said that the world community should make stronger the pressure upon Ankara in the matter of the Armenian genocide recognition. He thinks that Erdogan's statement on 23 April is a result of the growing international pressure upon Turkey in the matter of the Armenian genocide recognition.
Meanwhile, 44 out of 51 states of the USA have recognized the Armenian genocide. The total of 29 countries of the world also recognized the Armenian genocide, including Canada, Argentina, Russia, France, Poland, Greece, etc.
