Andreas Ghukasyan signs two written assurances that he refuses medical aid and continues his hunger strike

Presidential candidate Andreas Ghukasyan, who has been on hunger strike for 17 days, signed on Thursday two written assurances that he refuses any medical aid and is decisively going to continue his hunger strike despite the consequences for his health, the representatives of Ghukasyan's campaign headquarters, told ArmInfo. 

Over the past few days the candidate has weaken so much that he continues his hunger strike in a lying state, and no unknown persons or journalists can visit him. Only Ghukasyan's relatives and representatives of his campaign headquarters are in his tent.    

For their part, the ambulance physicians told ArmInfo that at the moment the state of Ghukasyan's health is satisfactory and no faints have been fixed yet. They added that Ghukasyan refuses any medical aid. The ambulance crews are on constant duty near Ghukasyan's tent and replace each other once every two hours.  

To note, Ghukasyan went on a hunger strike, demanding that Serzh Sargsyan, the presidential candidate from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, should withdraw his candidacy.
