The Special Investigation Service of Armenia has initiated a criminal case following the media reports about the incident that occurred to blind
former ASALA activist, now member of the Preparliament movement Alek Yenikomshian on Oct 20.
The reports say that on that day Yenikomshian's neighbor was taking him back home in his car from an automobile protest action when a group of men stopped them. They said they were policemen, pulled Yenikomshian out of the car, got into it and went away, leaving the blind man right in the middle of the highway.
