The position of official Yerevan in the matter of normalization of relations with Ankara remains unchanged - Armenia thinks putting forward of pre-conditions on the way of normalization of relations with Turkey or linking of this process with Karabakh conflict settlement is inadmissible, vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament, press-secretary of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, Edward Sharmazanov, said when commenting on Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu's yesterday's statement that Ankara is ready to open the Armenian-Turkish border, if the Armenians leave Nagornyy Karabakh.
"Armenians were living and will live in Nagornyy Karabakh regardless of Turkey's will, as Karabakh is a part of their native land", - Sharmazanov said. Touching on the problem of using tombstones of Christian cemeteries when building the highway which will link Baku with Naxivan, Sharmazanov said that the world community must be also blamed for that as it did not suppress destruction of the Armenian monuments in Jugha.
