"The medics held by the group "Darevils of Sasoun" at the seized building of the Police Patrol Service Regiment are tired, stressed and want home," Taguhi Stepanyan, the head of the Emergency Aid CJSC told ArmInfo's correspondent after a phone call with them.
She said they were supplied with food yesterday, but now they again need food and fresh cloths. "We are going to supply all the necessary products and cloths," she said. In response to the question about how much food they supply, Stepanyan said: "As much as our medics need."
Asked how the group members treat the medics, Stepanyan did not give a direct answer saying, "If a person's rights to free movement are restricted it is already violence."
As for the health condition of the two wounded members of "Daredevils of Sasoun" who are still in the territory of the seized police regiment, Stepanyan said: "The group members misled us by saying that their wounds were heavy and they need emergency medical aid. Their wounds are not heavy and their health condition is satisfactory."
Meantime, the Health Ministry of Armenia had repeatedly said and warmed that one of the group members who was wounded yet on July 17 is in heavy condition and needs immediate hospitalization. The ministry and Police have repeatedly urged the group to let them hospitalize the wounded man.
On July 27, the armed group that has seized the police regiment since July 17 demanding release of its jailed opposition leader Jirayr Sefilyan and resignation of the president held four medics at the seized building. Later, one of the medics was let free, while two physicians and a nurse are still held at the seized building.
