Armenian Government to cut its passenger traffic subsidies to South Caucasus Railway

 The Armenian Government is planning to cut its passenger traffic subsidies to South Caucasus Railway by 40mln AMD. 

The money will be spent on financial and technical audits of the company.

In 2014 the Government was supposed to subsidize some 536.5mln AMD or $1.3mln.
South Caucasus Railway is 100% subsidiary of Russian Railways and has 30-year concession right to operate Armenian Railways.
