Armenia must be neutral on Crimea. Any move towards Russia or the West may have quite dangerous consequences for it, political expert Yervand Bozoyan told journalists on Tuesday.
And so, in his opinion, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan was not right when saying that the Crimean referendum has become one more precedent for those wishing to exercise their self-determination rights. "We need good relations not only with Russia but also with the West. So, any bias may harm us," Bozoyan said.
He advised the Armenian authorities not to draw parallels between the Nagorno-Karabakh and Crimean problems as the world community does not recognize the referendum in Crimea.
