Tbilisi. Georgia and Turkey will hold joint naval exercises on Thursday, September 13, the Turkish coastal guard boat has already arrived in Poti port, the press-service of the Border Police of Georgian Ministry of Interior (MoI) reported on Tuesday, September 11.
Turkish TCSG-71 boat has come to Georgia in the framework of bilateral cooperation plan.
"The aim of the visit is to exchange experience in the sphere of sea coasts defence. On September 13 the Turkish coastal guard boat will participate in the naval exercises jointly with officials of the Georgian coastal guard", a statement reads.
